This is a professional trade qualification and you will gain a level 2 & 3 City & Guilds Certificate on completion of this course. The course covers the following units;

- Health and safety in building services engineering (Assessed by multiple choice on-line exam and a practical assessment)
- Principles of Electrical Science (Assessed by multiple choice on-line exam)
- Electrical Installations Technology (Assessed by multiple choice on-line exam (open book (IET On-Site Guide))
- Installation of wiring systems and enclosures (Assessed by 1 written assignment and 2 practical assessments)
- Understand how to communicate with others within building services engineering (Assessed by multiple choice on-line exam)
There are 5 units within this level 3 Electrical qualification.
- Fundamental Principles and Requirements of Environmental Technology Systems (Assessed by multiple choice on-line exam)
- Principles of Electrical Science (Assessed by written exam)
- Fault Diagnosis and Rectification (Assessed by written assignments and a practical assessment)
- Installation of wiring systems and enclosures (Assessed by written assignment and practical assessments)
- Electrical Installation Design (Assessed using a design project and written paper)
